I know this is a bit of a long shot but could anybody help please? I am looking for two sets of my 4x ggrandparents on the 1851/61 census. The first ones are JOHN MILLS ( shown as ‘wood carver’, ‘wood turner’ on various later certs/census) and his wife ELIZABETH (surname looks like ‘MOLS’ on their son (my 3xggrandfathers) birth cert. I haven’t managed to find a marriage for them yet. On the sons birth cert, dated 7th May 1840 they are at 3 Duke Street, sub-district of St Mathew, Bethnal Green. I have their son DANIEL with his wife Louisa and children on the 1871 in St Leonards, Shoreditch, but can’t find JOHN and ELIZABETH anywhere on the ’61, ’71 or ’81. The second ones are as follows: They are HENRY HERBERT TULL and ELIZA TULL (nee ROWLANDS). They married March 1849 in Bethnal Green, but I don’t yet have the cert. Their daughter RHODA REBECCA LOUISA (my 3xggrandmother) was born 28th February 1855 at 15 Wenlock Terrace, Hoxton New Town. The first ‘sighting’ of any of them on a census is Rhoda on the 1871 as a ‘servant’ in Hackney – no family with her!! I then have her married on the 1881 and can track her from there. I am looking for them on the 1851, 1861 and 1871. I anyone can find them I would be eternally grateful. I have also put this message on the Records Office board. Thanks in advance. Trudy
