Still trying to decipher that one Christine but the enumerator's writing is so bad that the wife's name really does look like James! Now how likely is that? Kate.

There is this famliy, whose name is extraordinarily unusual (no Google results, no others on GR) with a Thomas the right age. RG11/3675 36 Barry St, Kirkdale, Lancashire, England Annie Jushour abt 1874 Liverpool Daughter Henry Jushour abt 1852 Waterford, Ireland Head James Jushour abt 1851 Waterford, Ireland Wife John Jushour abt 1877 Liverpool Son Mary Jushour abt 1870 Liverpool Daughter Thomas Jushour abt 1872 Liverpool Son Note that Kirkdale is a subdistrict of West Derby. I've looked at the image - lots of times - and can't convince myself I can read it. It could, just, be the name as transcribed. The last letter does look like an R, but the second letter looks more like an N than a U - which would force the first letter to be an I not a J. To make life interesting the J of James and the I of Ireland both stand on the line, while this has a downstroke - it looks more like a lower-case F! Can someone else have a look? Christine

I notice that one of this family was born in Liverpool at about the right time - could be a connection somewhere (especially as teh Head was born in Wales)... RG11/4544 Troy Rd, Morley, Yorkshire, England Annie J. Dean abt 1880 Morley, Yorkshire, England Niece Albert Instrell abt 1859 Knowsley, Lancashire, England Son Arthur Instrell abt 1866 Liverpool, Lancashire, England Son Eleanor H. Instrell abt 1869 Ripon, Yorkshire, England Daughter Christine PS - I had a look on http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk, but didn't find much. Perhaps yours haven't been transcribed yet.

Thank you for that Rose, a distinct possibility. It is a name that is easily misheard.

Looking for Thomas INSTRELL born about 1872 Liverpool. Have him on 1901 with wife and children and 1891 as boarder in Wales. Need to find his parents names, but cant find him on the 1881 England or Wales. I cant find his birth either. Have tried Ancestry and all the births on familyrelatives but nothing matches. Obviously a mistranscription somewhere, but I cant find it. Any help please.
