Hi Martin, I had the same problem over the week-end, but it seems to be ok now. Gail.

I needed to look up some BMDs so bought some credits on 1837online over the weekend, not used the site for a year or so. Is it always so slow? I thought I would try looking up a couple of people who I could not find in the 1861 on Ancestry. I get an almost immediate response on Ancestry, still waiting for 1837online to complete one search after 5 minutes or so. I have not found them but I tried a search by surname and place of birth. I got no matches but Ancestry finds two matches and the counties are covered by 1837online so it does not inspire confidence in their accuracy. MB
