I found this site via www.ukbmd.org.uk and have found a number of useful pieces of info - including a marriage and a birth from a family normally found in mainland Hants. Christine

Although I have no relations past or present living on the island, many of my ancestors did actually marry there. Thank you for this link :)

The Isle Of Wight Has a very good web site where anybody can down load any family that were born, married or died on the island. It can be found on the web address, www.isle-of-wight-fhs.co.uk. It is easy to use. We are currently transferring the imfo from the island records office onto the web. The Marriages are mainly complete, The births & deaths are up to the 1908 at the moment. but we are adding more each week so have a look weekly if your date have not been reached yet. Happy hunting
