Thanks Sarah. I don't live in Bradford, which is where he died. Do you know if there are any online cemetry searches? |

Thanks Sheila. No, I didn't check 72/73. I'll try that. the Coroner registered his death. |

Hi Tracey, Just a thought but did you check the 1972/73 roll, maybe they had not long moved in when he passed away, also his girlfriend may have stayed on there for a while. Who registered the death have you looked for them. Sheila |

Thanks Julie. I'll try, but all I have is their names, so it will be difficult. |

Why not try tracing the people at the address and ask if they knew him. It could well be he was staying with friends at the time - might even give you some info regarding wife/partner or the situation even. If however they don't know anything about him - it may be he was living at a house in the street and someone has put the number down incorrectly - or even the street name may be incorrect. |

Because there was an inquest, the Coroner registered his death. I doubt they were on the phone. I don't think many peole were back then, but I'll give it a try. Thanks. |

I'm trying to trace the family of one of my family members who died in 1971. He was living with his wife/girlfriend and her/their children, but I don't know her name. So I started by getting a copy of his death certificate, which gave me the address he was living at, when he died. Then I checked the electoral roll to see who he was living with. However, the electoral roll for 1969-1971 shows 2 people living there, and neither of them are him. Now what? |
