on genes i think you will have to enter the same person twice or put somrthing in their notes boxes. I've two sisters who married two brothers on my tree and I've had to enter them both twice one as wives and one as sisters. Kim

Hi Patricia That is confusing! I don't know how you'd do it on GR but do you have your own tree software? I use Family Historian and it could cope with that as when you create a spouse for someone it can either be a new individual or one already in the database. Victoria

I have a problem when entering my mother's grandparents and am not sure what to do. My mother's maternal grandfather married 3 times. So I have entered all 3 of his wives. My mother's paternal grandmother married twice. So i entered both her husbands. The problem is that the maternal grandfather's 3rd wive is the paternal grandmother. (hope this makes sense). So do I have to enter both of these twice to make sense of the maternal and paternal parts of my tree. If I have made this too confusing please tell me - I am already confused!!!! Trish
