Anybody heard of a place called Carkin

Hi , Does anyone know of a place called Carkin as just got my G G G Grandad on the 1851 Yorkshire census and cant find it anywhere please help regards June |

According to Multimap there is Carkin Fields, Carkin Moor and Carkin Grange, all quite close to each other and all just north of Richmond in North Yorkshire. Kath. x |
