Do you mind if i...Can you please help I am trying to find the following family on the 1881 census with no luck Henry John Gilbert Taylor born c. 1850 birth place is either (1871) Middlesex, (1891) London, (1901) St Martin in the Fields, London Wife: Rebecca born c. 1842 Sapcote, Leicestershire Son: William, born c. 1870 Sapcote, Leicestershire (from 1871 Census) Daughter: Catherine J, born c. 1871, Hurley, Warwickshire (from 1871 census) Jane, born c. 1876 Leeds - Armley (from 1891 census) Clara, born c. 1878 Leeds - Armley (from 1891 census) Previous census places are: 1871 - Kingsbury, Warwickshire, Henry is a police constable 1891 - Leyton, Walthamstow, Essex, Henry is a Postman 1901 - Cann Hall, Leyton, Essex, Henry is a Land Board Boy Maker (????) At his daughter Clara's marriage his occupation is listed as a Card Boardbox Maker. Henry sometimes uses John as his first name. |
