Sorry to add another thread to this over crowded with inappropriate threads already. This has totally got out of hand with people acting like spoilt children and definitely not like adults. Fact of the matter is.... bar threads go on general board. Your arguement back saying 'other threads are inappropriate', I say back to that 'not as much as your's'. This tips board has become a mindfield with inappropriate threads everywhere on it, to complain etc etc. People acting like spoilt children and not like adults like I have mentioned above. This squabbling has created divide between people and opinions. I reiterate, your thread is totally inappropriate. Do what some person suggested, bring the tone of the general thread back up to standard and stop spamming this tips board. 1 thread was enough, but loads are popping up and even more to complain/agree/disagree. I'm forced to post another inappropriate thread in the circumstances of peoples views/arguements. This board is for tips/help. As I am aware there are no threads on the Records Office board, why? In future the RO board will become overcome with inappropriate threads. People are really just hypocrites on these boards, criticising one thing and then praising another. Make up your mind. It's driving me insane. I just want to come on this website help people and get helped, simple. Not argue with people who can't fathom or come to terms with some things. The rules are put on this website by some of the members and then are broken by maybe even the same people. Just a rant perhaps, but a much needed rant. Sorry for another inappropriate thread. Steve

Steve my response was to nudge all tips type threads backup the board to try to get rid of the inappropriate ones. Didn't work, more just kept coming. Rachel

I'm making a point, so not bothered about its appropriateness. Seeing as everyone is posting on this tips board, it would be stupid of me to put it on the general board. I even apologised for its inappropriateness. I agree this is quite a dead subject, but it gets brung up by members for and against this bar thread. We are all as bad as each other. I did say people are hyprocrites, proved by some of these responses. I have to indure this bickering everyday on this site, and it's off putting. GR deal with it one way or another! Please move threads not delete them. Myself included if you don't like it.. leave. People are above all this especially adults. Steve

Being quite new to the message board but not new to Genes I have to say that being able to come on here with census queries and them being answered within minutes by some kind person who takes time out to help other people is amazing and I really don't see the problem with some people starting a thread that maybe is irrelevant, as, no-one makes you read these threads unless of course you want to. You can tell by the title of the thread whether it's a genealogy question or not. All they're doing is having a bit of fun and why shouldn't they? They certainly make the £7.00 membership worth every penny.

So here it all is continued. When i looked in earlier things seem to have calmed down. Why not just leave it now? Jess
