I seem to have 'lost' a thread on here today that contained some important information. Can anyone advise me on how to ensure that future threads of mine are kept safe and that the information contained therein can be preserved. |

I don't know anything about the removal of threads but if I were you I would email GC direct and ask them what the problem was and if you could get the helpful information back. Not a refence to you but this site used to be great for helpful stuff but I'm beginning to find the actions of both GC deleting threads and those filling the boards with endless messages very childish. Sorry Rachel I for one am very much aware of how all of this has caused inconvenience to a number of fellow members. What you have seen today is the result of pure frustration on the part of many who are normally very responsible and helpful people. After many months of adult application to a grievance, they have, as a last resort, adopted the childish response. G |

Guy Don't worry I understand the frustration and have emailed GC myself about the whole thing, though they are probably busy dealing with everyone elses emails. It's just a shame now that the actual tips are getting pushed further and further down the board and we now have a whole page of threads about the same topic. I don't claim to understand the arguement between posters and GC and I'm really not that interested either (without meaning to sound rude!), I just want to do my family tree and help others do theirs!!!
