A couple of weeks ago a lot of people where helping me. I had the marriage cert. of Annie Lillian Ferguson Dunn, father Thomas Tendar Dunn but no one could find them on any census. Was helped to find birth of Annie (well slightly different name and 'wrong' area) but could find nothing better, so sent of for the cert. It came today. Annie was christened Annie Lillian Ferguson and her mother was Jane Mercy Dunn. She was a servant and no name of father on the cert. I presume she was given her fathers surname although Mum and Dad weren't married. When she married she used both surnames. Now all I have to find Thomas Tendar Dunn (that's where the almost comes in) Thanks a lot to all those who helped me. Linda x
