Uploading my tree to GR

hi, I have a few questions about uploading my family tree. I've had a version of my tree on here for about 2 years but have been really bad about updating it when I've found out new information as I've always recorded it in the version I have with family tree software. I've realised now that there are major differences in the 2 tress, and I probably have about 100 new names to upload! Am I able to upload small family groups as gedcom files and attach them to the tree I have here, or is the only option to delete my tree on GR and upload the whole thing? Second question: if I delete and upload again is this going to affect my contacts? I guess that they will just see that a whole load of names have appeared on the site that they already have, with a few extras. Thanks in advance for an tips you guys can offer. Sharon

your contacts will not be affected if you delete your tree and completely reinstall it providing you use the same login details as before. The only other way I can think of to update your tree is to manually add people to your tree here on GC/GR.

Thanks for your help! The thought of manually adding each member was just too much so I've deleted and reloaded. My tree looks much healthier now, and I don't think I've lost anyone in the process! Thanks!
