Question about saving Census information

On Ancestry you can save pages as jpgs. These can be emailed or saved on disc. It sounds as if you might be saving the web page rather than the census image. Hope this makes sense. SS |

One of the members of our genealogy society has a subscription to Ancestry.com. She lets members search for information using her subscription. I have found several family members on various census documents. I can e-mail that page to my home address. When it arrives the message is from the member as it is her subscription. The message says to hurry as the information will only be available for a short time. I have called up the census information at home and then saved the page to 'my documents' so I could look at it later without having to print everything out. When I call the information back up through my saved document, it says there is an error and I can't view the information. It gives me the outline of the census page, but no information. Is there any way I can actually save this information without having it disappear one the e-mail information expires? Any ideas anyone??? |
