The image certainly looks like Cabza ! Have you pulled all kids from the IGI with those parents ? Do they match her siblings .... I suspect mum is Sarah ... Name Estimated Birth Year Birthplace Relationship Civil Parish County --------------------------------------------------- Cabza Bache abt 1845 Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England Daughter Dudley Worcestershire David Bache abt 1846 Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England Son Dudley Worcestershire Elizabeth Bache abt 1851 Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England Daughter Dudley Worcestershire Saml Bache abt 1813 Dudley, Worcestershire, England Head Dudley Worcestershire Saml Bache abt 1846 Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England Son Dudley Worcestershire Sava Bache abt 1814 Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England Wife Dudley Worcestershire All I could see ... 2. MARY ANN BACHE - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 11 MAR 1838 Brierley Hill, Stafford, England 3. BENJAMIN BACHE - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Christening: 16 FEB 1840 Brierley Hill, Stafford, England SABRA BACHE - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 15 SEP 1844 Kingswinford And St. Marys Chapelry, Stafford, England Not the same parish as the census ..... but, very near - so what if the enumertor was told wrong!

Cabza Bache? is there some 'foreign' blood there somewhere? what were the siblings called? With a mother called SAVA? sorry that tickled me - 'Sava bache' sounds like a drunk talking !- going to punch his mate! Just looked at the image and Sava looks like Sara. what is the entry a couple above (same surname)

i'm going to ask for a 1851 lookup and see what names that throws up - as in 1871 the family are 'Back' and Sava is Sarah
