Is Laban a Huguenot surname

Hello everyone, I have been told that name Laban came from France during the Huguenot exodus, can anyone verify this please. Many thanks, Sue |

Can't verify this but if you google Laban + Huguenot there are lots of sites with Laban as a first and surname. nell |
