Karen I found a great forum site the other night as I too have rellies from Buncrana. You have to register (free of charge) and they send you an email to confirm membership.. Not really sure, but could you try phoning the local post office in this place? They might be able to tell you if the cottage still exists. Kath. x |

Long story...... but I am trying to help my Dad find the cottage in Ireland where he used to visit his grandparents. They lived in the house during the 1950s - he said it was in Buncrana but can't remember where abouts, they were the Curran family, apparantly the mother Kathleen was the Farmer and the father James worked for the local Council, they had a big family - cant get all their names but know there were Mary ,Theresa, Jim, Paddy, Kay, Rose . Is there any way I could trace this cottage? |
