It is illegal, but only if they mention Ancestry or a specific CD can action be taken. Otherwise it's difficult to track down whose - if anyone's - copyright is being infringed.

I know what you mean, although I did see somebody offering free ones in return for a contribution for the sahara trek. At least thats benefiting a good cause.

I cannot believe people still continue to advertise on Ebay to do lookups of the census and are charging people for it. Surely they cannot do this using Ancestry as there must be some law against it. I know it has been mentioned before, but it makes me furious that people are charging just for one lookup.
