trying to find my Grandfather`s marriage, he married a Dutch girl have written to where she came from -nothing- they married just after the 1st W.W. Received a letter today saying she left Holland in June of 1919, no mention of a marriage. Can anyone help me. Forgot Grandfather was in the SOUTH STAFFS.REGIMENT Name THOMAS FARMER. Many Thanks.

If you enquired using her maiden name and their reply telling you she left Holland using this name then wouldnt it sugguest that the chances are they married uk??. Kay.

Thank you Kay, Yes it would suggest that,Grandfather was a P.O.W and i cann`t find where in England he came too and hence where he got married.
