I know George Samples was born 8 apr 1870 to Sarah Samples. So you would presume he's be on the 1871 census |

A 17 year old Sarah (mistranscribes as Semple) is living with her Sister and family, but no sign of George. However he turnes up in 1881 living with Sarah & her new husband & children. Where could he be? |

Was Sarah an unmarried mum? In which case George may have been farmed out to another relative/foster home. nell |

Maybe they just thought he need not be added as he was a baby! or kept him off due to his mother being single! |
