Further to the successful, 'get a whole village population' thread. I was fiddling with the Northants parish records on the web when I clicked something or other and up came ancestry Learning Center (its a tab on the top of the US ancestry board). So there is this info about your name distribution, where your name originated, whether anyone with that name served in the civil war (US), the average death age of your name against the general public and lots of other stuff. woo hoo http://www(.)ancestry(.)com/learn/ |
