How do I find out who owned these companys The Falmouth Model Laundry Company 1911-1937 and then 1943 The county Steam Laundry Exwick Devon 1916-1919

Janice, The National Archives online catalogue will show you if there are any documents about the companies at Kew. I have only found papers relating to the dissolution of the 'Model Steam Laundry Company' - there is nothing prefixed by 'Falmouth'. You might also try calling the Cornwall/Devon Records Offices - usually staff are helpful in giving further guidance. Good luck, regs Jane

The records office/local history centre might have commercial/trade directories of the period which might list the owners/directors etc. nell

I've had a look at some of the relevant directories. My relation was married to the manager of these laundries but I don't know if he owned them.
