I knew that my Gran had been married before she married my Grandad. She had three children with the first husband and then two with the second. Emigrated to Canada and then came back some years later with my Grandad and the two children that were his, one of them being my Dad. The others were quite a bit older and opted to stay behind in Canada. Everyone lost touch and as far as I know my Gran never saw them again. BUT now through an old address book I found belonging to my late Mum and Dad I found an address of someone in Canada, took a chance and wrote with a brief note about who I am etc. Got an answer back, from my Grans grand -daughter.The address I had was from my Grans daughter but she had died a few years ago but the people living in the house now knew where some of the family lived (only in the next street) and passed the letter on. She's now got my email address and we have already swopped some info. It seems really strange. She was my Gran and she was her Gran as well. Looking forward to filling a lot more gaps. Linda
