not me i'm afraid..(an ex Essex gal) i could do with some nice fluffy socks ,in bed , here in northern california. Did they get these lady's to knit for britain during the war ?? Anyone else out there descended from these folk in Dentdale Cumberland? Apparently EVERYONE in the village spent their waking moments knitting socks to augment their income. |
