I'd say it was STUTTER, because further down the page (1881 census) there's another family, name of Hutchins, and the H is nothing like the ST in Stutter. Same with the 1891. I'd still say is says Stutter - the H on other words, like 'Head' is clearly different. Carole

Could someone please have a look on the 1881 RG11/2044 Folio 22 Page 2. There is a Anne Jane STUTTER and Lilian May STUTTER in the transcription, but on the 1891 RG12/1600 Folio 72 Page 2 they are transcribed as HUTTER. Which is right, do you think please
