Hi Dot - The one that I downloaded gave me name, parents' names, home address and date of death. Maybe you would only get this information if the person had been killed in action. Perhaps the medals would then have gone to his parents.

You don't necessarily get a lot of info. I have one which just gives name, regiment and medal entitlement, and another which has dates too. I downloaded one for £3.50 (you also get the 5 other cards on the same page) and copied one from the card at Kew which cost me nothing. You can photocopy the cards at kew for 25p. nell
