Just found a telegram from the Queen for Grans dia

Saw it sticking out of a pile of stuff! Anyway, theres a date on it - 2nd July 1981 - in a stamp from Bristol Telegram office. Will this bear any relation to the date of her wedding 60 years ago, or will this just be a date stamp when it arrived in the telegram office. I've just had a look on Ancestry for marriages for 1921 and couldn't find anything! Lisa

Hi Lisa, 1921 may not be on Ancestry you could probably find it on 1837 online. I should think the date will be very close to the actual date. May be worth a looking. Germaine
