Carcinonia of Peritoneum....where? whats that please? Gerri x

I think the first word is meant to be carcinoma, which is the medical term for cancer. Peritoneum is the lining of the abdominal cavity (ie it covers your intestines - this is what gets infected in peritonitis, which is often a result of appendicitis). nell

I think that the peritoneum is the lining of the abdominal cavity, and carcinoma would be cancer. Kath. x

Carcinonia of Peritoneum...I have updated n updated! this is how it's spelt on the death certs.. Her mother died of Cancer of the bowel...Came home from hols to 5 certs.....these being two of them. Her Mothers cert says....Carcinoma of the rectum I was wondering what/where the Peritoneum was?

Sorry folks, Im not concerntrating Big Sister just finished chemo and radiotherepy for cancer of the cervix also her daughter, throat cancer.Both now clear....for now. Last week got death cert for G.G Grandfather. He died of Chronic Broncitus also a great Aunt did too....something my younger sister and myself have suffered with all our lives. (Must give up the fags!) Looks like I aint got a hells chance!...Coughing with the fags also Cancer. Oh well...you gotta die of summut :-S lol Gerri lights another... PS...Diets and giving up smoking starts on Mondays. (shame it's a wednesday) lol
