I know the feeling, finding out lots of information does help you learn about your ancestors and how they lived and what happened to them in the past. I am quite surprised how many of my ancestors got married just before their first child was born. I always start looking a year before the birth for the marriage only to find it took place just before the child was born or in some cases after the child was born. Tut tut what would my grandmother say?(she did the very same) Regards Irene

I've been round in so many ever decreasing cicles that I have made a bed to lie on out of all the paper and disappeared up my own backside. BUM BUM !!! ha

I am with you on that one - the more you find out the deeper you dig. Like you, it doesn't seem to get you further back, just adds a bit of flesh to the bones!

Isn't it strange that the more you find out, the more you need to know!!! I started off SO organised /methodical now I have turned into Miss Marple and imagine all sorts of scenarios + can't rest until I find the answers!. I have certainly generated piles of paper in my searching.............and realised that I haven't really got very far back in history at all!!! (obsessed my husband call me) LOL Ann
