You might consider me to be a bit of a 'plonker',when you consider I ahve been a Member of GR since January 2004,however the question I would like to ask is;how do you refesh the Trees that you may have sent to other Members? Regards William Russell Jones Cefn Mawr Wrexham.

Hi Not sure exactly what you mean. If you mean your tree that have on this site and you have allowed someone to view it , it should automatically update when you update your tree. If you mean you have sent them a gedcom of your tree, then I think the only way would be to send them another. Julie

Hi I have found that alot of people do not update their trees on Genes regularly, although that doesnt always mean that they are not still researching as lots of people keep most of their info just on their computers. I try to put as much info on my tree on here though as it is an extra backup then of everything if your computer has a fatal crash or something. Julie

Thanks Julie and Jennie,although I have Back Up Julie I have all my Tree on GR.Yes Jennie I have added about 400 names since the 1861 Census appeared on Ancestry,if I may paraphrase an old Hymn I used to sing;Infos flowing like a river! Regards William Russell Jones Cefn Mawr Wrexham.

I have to say since I got my FTM2005 I tend not to update GR.
