Help Please !! Can anyone tell me if someone died in Bermondsey Ca 1920 where they would be buried, as i am trying to find the resting place of my G/Grandfather James Henry Norris. On the 1901 census he lived at 90 Snowsfields Bermondsey near Guys Hospital with his wife Louisa and children William b1890 : Florence b 1891 : James b 1893 (my grandad ) Charles b 1895 : And Edward b1900. I would appreciate any leads thanks Ann

People aren't necessarily buried where they lived/died. They might be taken to a family plot elsewhere. Londoners in particular tended to be buried further out as the graveyards grew overcrowded. There's a list here: www.gendocs.demon.co.uk/cem.html nell
