We all do it don't we. The trouble is we tend to be tackling so many aspects of FH at once that our brains get confused. Not difficult in my case!! Ann Glos

Never mind Nell! I've been tidying up all my bits of paper that I jot things down on and I've found lots of information that I'd forgotten I had and was just about to go hunting for again! Helen :-)

As some of you will know I have found this street, now disappeared, where my husband's grandfather was born in 1894. Whilst husband and I were discussing the other branch of his family, Jewish fishmongers, I got out a book about the Houndsditch Murders & the Siege of Sydney Street to show him where they lived...and there on a map drawn in the book to illustrate where the various revolutionaries were living was Charles Street!!!!! The answer was on my bookshelf all the time. Doh! nell
