That is what it looks like and its transcribed as Thingoe on Ancestry as well. I cant find it on the Register Office List though. Could it be a mistranscription I wonder

Thingoe Created 1st July 1837. Abolished 1st April 1908 (incorporated into Bury St. Edmunds district) Sub-districts : Firnham; Ixworth; Rougham GRO volumes : XIII (1837-51); 4a (1852-1908).
