Have you looked on the medal roll index on the National Archives site? Try here: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/militaryhistory/medals/ The nat. archives also has a virtual exhibition about WW1 which might help you. nell

Iam from Melbourne, Australia looking to identify photos of English soldiers (relatives, orginally from Norfolk) in my possession. We have a few really good ones in full uniform with a name and it's dated. I just can't find them or identify their families on this site or ancentry. How do I go about finding information from Melbourne on English soldiers. They are dated around 1917 wtih one them taken in Malta the other at the Crystal Palace. Please help?
