i remember not long aho checking registration and death records cant remember how now though??? help please

Do you mean GRO indexes of birth marriage and death registrations? http://freebmd.rootsweb.*com/cgi/search.pl has a partial transcription (not much after 1910) free to search www.1837online.*com is a complete index 1837 - 2003 which is pay to view - £5 buys 55 pages. Remove the * to use the addresses.
