Frustrated new member - please help!

I have just upgraded to full membership and am trying to post a message on the 'Trying to Find' board. I've clicked where it says 'click here' and it takes me to the Your Names page. The list of names in my tree is displayed, but there is no box allowing me to send a message. Maybe I'm being thick, but I'd really appreciate some help. Many thanks, Pam |

On the same line as your surnames, on that page, you should see 'message board postings' on the right hand side. Click on 'Trying to find' and it will ask if you want to post a message. Do you want to post regarding one of the names on your tree? |

The name you want to post as 'trying to find' must be in your tree.if thet aren't 'invent them' post them, and then delete them from your tree (i had to invent what i called a son for my late brother!) Make sense? |

Thanks both. Yes, I'm trying to find a name on my tree, but I'm not getting the 'message board postings' coming up on the right of my list. Have e-mailed Genes Reunited, but obviously won't get a reply till Monday now. Ah well, never mind! |

Pam, First click on 'Your Names' to the left of this window, 6th option down. Then scroll to the name you want, click on the number, whatever it is, under the Trying to find column, then follow the instructions to add your message. |
