My husbands gggrandfather surname Shears had a shoe factory in the East End,possibly Steppney or Mile End c1850s. His son was John Henry Shears a Commercial Traveller in 1902. How do I go about finding this factory? Any suggestions? Brenda |

I would guess the London Metropolitan Archives would be able to trace this. |
