I have been looking at 'Lost Cousins' site. Are second/third cousins blood relatives? Don't want to add them to my board there if I shouldn't! Jean

Hi Jean Second cousins have the same great grandparents and third cousins have the same great-great-grandparents so yes, they belong on your tree. Heather

If they are related to you by blood, yes.

Thanks all, I did know that but when adding to my Lost Cousins site I wasn't sure. But as they appear on the 1881 census it must be alright. Does anyone else put their rellies on there? And have you found any lost cousins? I haven't yet, but having done the obvious ones I am now trying to go sideways into the Gt. aunts etc in the hope that someone will find me! Just trying to find more connections. :-)
