Carole I thought I'd give it a try so put in my maiden name and town where my ancestors were from. Guess what I got:- Car Dealerships!!! The name was Ford and they were from Manchester - LOL!!! Maybe I should try another name. Lyn |

Try google your surname and the area they came from, village, town, or occupation, anything. I did that and found a history of the village with my family mentioned. It helped me get back to 1748. With less solid roots back to 1679. Good luck. Carole |
