Genealogy Chat

There are sooo many different website to find family tree information. I dont want to be paying out on every one. Are there any that are better than others? I need to research Scotland, im stuck at 1900's at the moment. With England im working at early 1800's one tree and late 1800's on another Any recomendations will be great. x

Hi Natalie There is a 'best websites' thread on this board, have a look at that, there are loads of sites listed. It depends what you are looking for really as to which sites you will need. Also which part of the country as some counties have lots of information online and some don't. Sam x

I found the scottish very good especially getting image of certs with out having to send off for them . I also found when searching you might get a few back and it says no image available I just enterd it again with date etc so just got the 1 that I was looking for and Image was there not in all case though. yes not on all of them I found that out by accident when I was just looking back I just checking out info on page put in info to get just one hit and there was Image to down load Jeanette
