Has anyone noticed that when you contact someone after doing a name search on the site, the little box to give someone access to your tree is already ticked and they will automatically be able to view your tree if you don't remember to 'uncheck' this before contacting them. Didn't we have a lot of trouble last year to get this removed and put the other way round so you actually had to do the 'ticking' yourself to give access. Kath. x

I only just noticed this today but have no idea when they changed it - hope I haven't been giving everyone access to my tree without knowing!

I only noticed it tonight. I wonder if when GR were messing up the script sizes the other day, they did something without realising it. Wonder if it's worth emailing them yet again. Kath. x

Have just emailed GR about this. Wonder if the reply will be the standard 'we are passing this on to our technical department' that seems to be the only answer I have ever got from them. Kath. x
