Thank you for the great websites, i have just been on medal finder and found that someone has a portrait of my great grandad back in 1915. I have a problem though it will not allow me to pay to contact the person. Will keep trying wish me luck.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know about two new sites that I have been on today. They are www(.)medalfinder(.)com and www(.)nationalarchivist(.)com For any of you out there who are trying to locate family medals, please try the first site as its mission is to reunite family members with their medals. It is free to register and search. The second site is very good as you can look for passport applications prior to 1903 and details of death duties to name but a few. Apologises if these sites have already been mentioned...Janine
