Hee hee hee lesley, My g aunt Nell's real name was....... Alice lol. Her husband was called Len. When they started courting her nickname (and the name everyone knew her by) became Nel (Len backwards), then the extra 'l' just naturally appeared!!! I didn't know her real name until I started doing genealogy. maggie |

It's usually Helen, Ellen or Eleanor or have even known a few Nelinas shortened to Nellie Christine |
