have small problem. Got my gggrandmothers marriage lines 2day, but have gone on to ancsetory to look for them (1871 census) and cannot find them. Have a date of marriage 20th May 1871,names are Mary Ellen Gabbott and Patrick Hart. I know where she was before and after 1871 but not then,has for Patrick Hart thats a diffent story. He is a decorative painter and his father is James Hart and is a greengrocer. Any ideas on this . thank you Helen good luck to you all hope you have betterluck then me

For got to add they got my in st francis haviers church, west derby and toxfeth park lancashire. Have an address for the as well, 92 canterbury street everton.

Have looked on 1861 and found her living with a aunt, also found her on 1881 with her father in the name of hart, shes also on the 1891census. Shes 25 years old in 1871, when she married Patrick hart. hes aged 26

nudge, i'm still having trouble finding them. Iknow shes in chorley in 1861, living with her aunt., and is a pupil teacher.as for patrick hart and his father james well thats another matter.
