Finding a death certificate WW1

Two of my relatives died in 1917, both were fighting in the Australian Imperial Forces. I know when they died, just wondering if they would appear on an index for deaths like on 1837online for example. |

If they were in the AIF you won't find them on 1837. Hope someone from Aus can guide you. Regards Keith |

You might try the Commonwealth War Graves Commission index, see http://www.cwgc.org/ It won't provide a death certificate but you may get some further details. Godd luck, Stephen |

I have details just wondering if a certificate would show more. I've been to the CWGC site and that starting me off on my search. |
