Finding a death certificate WW1

Two of my relatives died in 1917, both were fighting in the Australian Imperial Forces. I know when they died, just wondering if they would appear on an index for deaths like on 1837online for example.

If they were in the AIF you won't find them on 1837. Hope someone from Aus can guide you. Regards Keith

You might try the Commonwealth War Graves Commission index, see http://www.cwgc.org/ It won't provide a death certificate but you may get some further details. Godd luck, Stephen

I have details just wondering if a certificate would show more. I've been to the CWGC site and that starting me off on my search.
