I have found one of my ancestors on the CWGC website. Just wondering what I can do next. His name is Claud Clement Godfrey Anstis born 1897 in Plymouth, Devon. His service number was 6931 and he was part of the 15th battalion Australian Infantry A.I.F Rank - Private. He was killed in 1917 in Apres. His nationality was Australian. Just wondering what more I could find about him to add to it. Like if he married overseas or of any BMDs in Australia. My grandmother always said she had Australian relatives and I couldn't prove it until now. Hope someone can help Steve |

Also I think I've also found his older brother too. Pretty tragic to be honest. Died in 1917 also, if its the correct person which it seems to be. No middle names though. |

That website I got onto (not CWGC) was brilliant. It gave me details of when are where they enrolled to, their ages, profession, fathers name or mothers name. It was great. My gran always said she had australian relatives but i didn't know anything about it or what. Thanks for nudging the thread Moe. Steve |
