Pear Tree Green isn't a road, it was i believe an area on the census in 1881 and 1891, hardly likely to be a road. besides i am looking for 62 bridge road in southampton. thanks anyway. Steve |

Hi Steve My husband says Pear Tree Green could be near either Townhill Park or near to Bitterne, he's not sure which. Regards Angie |

Is there such a place as the above? It is on my great grandfathers marriage certificate in 1911 (he was living at 62 bridge street) and one of his in law family lived in bridge road, pear tree green in 1881 and 1891 census's. i wonder if the address is still there today... and what registration district it came/come under then and now? Hope anyone can help Steve |
