If you take a look at www(.)regiments(.)org you will find some information on the Army Service Corps. It later became the Royal Army Service Corps, and then became the Royal Corps of Transport in 1965. The Regimental Museum may be able to help you. Paul

Wondering if anyone can help me. I have discovered my Gt Grandfathers medal card on the National Archives site, bus as with the majority of them it contains little info. All I know is that he was with the Army Sevice Corps and that he was made a corporal. I have his regimental number. Is there anwhere that lists which numbers were which regiments? I have no idea if he saw active service abroad. Thanks in advance. Sioux
