hope somebody out there can help. I'm looking for an Eli cooke born 1827? His father was eli, his mother margaret. Have tried all census to know avail. Have tried looking on ansestorey, for birth and marriage for both of them but nothing. Hope someone can help, now looking desparate!!!!!!!!!!! |

Civil registration of births marriges and deaths did not strt in England and Wales until 1st July 1837, and later in Ireland and Scotland so you are not likly to find a birth for Eli. You may be luck and find a baptisum record on FamilySearch though. Do you know when Eli married and to who??? This will act as a guide to find a record. If not were there any children? Start from the eldest and work back, if this fails work forward from the eldest child until Eli's death. |

have looked on family search, and on igi. He was born pentrych, 29th april 1827, thats a much as we got off igi. Jean |
