Kate Thanks for the email! Have found Barrow on the area index but not Back Barrow. Is it the same? It's too big to search without an address. Do you have any kind of birth or baptism record for John that might have an addie on it? Lou

Hi Kate The decayed Ulverston 1841 returns...remember them well! Give me a little while and I'll see whether I can find them in 51 Lou UPDATE: Have checked the whole of Ulverston and a few villages either side on the same folio and not one Hullock family. Back Barrow doesn't appear on the Area Index in 1851 so not sure I've actually checked that without realising what it was!

can anyone look for a hullock family in 1841 or1851 census for ulverston or back barrow in lancashire, desperately trying to find especially John Hullock born about 1834 in Back barrowi can find him in the 1861 census with his wife and new baby but nothing earlier. thankyou from kate
